The best time of day to visit kaudulla national park is afternoon. At afternoon elephants are coming out of forest to eat grass on the banks of Kaudulla Tank & drink water. Also for the daily bath. Begin tour at 3.00 PM is better for skip the sunlight & see herds of elephants. Morning 6am tour is better for mostly bird watching & see some elephants.
